FAQ

  • Do I need prior experience?
    You do not need prior experience - beginners are welcome to join. For men, there is a dedicated beginners class on Wednesdays 19:30-20:30 at Lea View Community Centre, Springfield, London E5 9DZ.
  • What equipment do I need for training?
    The required kit includes: Boxing gloves (14 or 16 ounces) (£20) MMA gloves (£20) Mouth guard (£5) White belt (£6) Shin guards (£8) You have the option to purchase the kit directly from us at the listed prices or acquire your own and bring it with you. If you would like to reserve any kit, please contact us.
  • How old do I need to be?
    For children, we currently have a boys class for 9-12yrs. We plan to expand classes to more age-groups in the near future. For adult classes, participants must be at least 16 years old. It's important to note that the training can be physically demanding, so please consider this beforehand. All trainees are required to fill in a medical waiver prior to taking part in ongoing training. This document will be provided to you by the instructor.
  • What if I am unfit?
    No prior fitness or experience is required to join us. Our experienced and responsible instructors will adapt the workouts to suit your abilities and needs.
  • What do I wear?
    Ideally, wear sportswear such as a t-shirt, shorts, and sports shoes. However, if you prefer, you can simply wear something comfortable. Please note that the training involves physical activity, so it is recommended to avoid wearing valuable or expensive clothing.
  • How much does it cost per session?
    Under our current pricing structure, each session costs £15, and payment can be made in person in either cash or card. For the men's classes, we also offer a convenient monthly membership option priced at £95. This grants you access to join any class on our timetable at your convenience. Please be aware that we do not provide refunds for any missed classes. This membership ensures flexibility and value for committed participants.
  • How do I pay for a session?
    Payment can be made in person in either cash or card.
  • Do you offer training for women?
    There is a private group for women run by a female instructor. All classes for women will be run by a female instructor only. Feel free to reach out to us for additional information.
  • Do you offer training for young children?
    Presently, we run a class for boys aged 9-12 on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 to 20:30. Our goal is to introduce classes for additional age groups in the near future. Feel free to get in contact with us for further details.
  • Do you offer private sessions?
    In short, yes we do. However, we highly recommend trainees to join our group classes as they are more convenient to arrange and cost-effective. If you are still interested in individual training, please contact us, and we will make efforts to accommodate your request.
